I wrote this piece in the summer of 2023 in a house my grandparents were renting; their permanent home had burned down several months earlier. This piece is about that time in our lives.

This work was performed in live readings at The Next Big Thing (The Moat) and at the Voiceworks Double Launch (#131 and #132, Unassigned Gallery) in August of 2024.
