Cicada Waves - Record Sleeve Redesign
In this project, I set out to redesign Ben Seretan's 2021 ambient album, "Cicada Waves" whilst honouring the aesthetic conventions of the ambient genre. I began by creating a series of textures using ink and arrived at a shape which could be overlaid over a film photograph of a forest canopy. I wanted the album to feel summery, hence why I chose warm green as the primary colour; I want the album to evoke dry grass in the shade.
